Walking the Southwest Coast Path

Day 24
Lizard Point to Porthollow 14 miles

With the end of this day we have found ourselves exactly half way through completion of this coastal path walk! We have done exactly 315 miles, and have only a mere 315 more to go!
A day spent wandering through many small fishing villages where the idea of craft readily came to mind, and a life and economy built around people having ownership of what work they did, compared to the model of today where we earn a wage. The connection to the land, and oneself, is very different for certain.
Several turns inland away from the coast today as spots of coastline are closed due to storm damage, which makes us think of the all those in present danger from the elemental forces. Wishing for the best!
