Day 14
Treyarnon Bay to Newquay 13.5 miles
Life at 3mph certainly generates a mindset far different than the proverbial fast lane of our modern lifestyle. One finds their thoughts slowing down and the mind thinking about things that just don’t occur to oneself when having to navigate the high stream traffic that typically assaults the senses most days.
Our perambulations this day allowed for not only a 3 mph rhythm to our walk, but we likewise had enough leisure to indulge ourselves in a swim. A swim in water that almost invoked images of Mediterranean sandy beaches as the water and sky contained endless shades of blue! Most relaxing, and exceedingly beautiful!
The English beaches along this side of the Island are most remarkable to explore, and to spend some time on. Not too difficult to understand why they get the traffic they do get this time of year. But that all ends within another week as school session commences. Perhaps there will be more activity within the ranks of long distance walkers then?
Weather looks so much dryer there than up here in the North. Great pictures.

We love your blog…. very much in line with our thoughts. Yvonne likes to express her connection with nature and emotions through her art. Our blog (from when we spent 6 months travelling in our VW in 2014) is still on line: “Van on the Run” https://vanontherunblog.wordpress.com by ‘Billy’ (Yvonne) and BT (Simon): Billy: because I used to tease Yvonne that she had no friends when I met her (‘Billy no mates’) and BT: because I am ‘Big Trouble’! We hope to meet you again. Simon & Yvonne
